Chocolat
chocolat
Our extra special girl Chocolat is a spaniel or thereabouts who we believe to be two or three years old.
Chocolat has been in our Cyprus shelter for about one month having been found abandoned in the Troodos mountains. Some kind local people spotted her and put out food and water for her regularly. Chocolat would only approach at night. Eventually one of the locals caught her and took her to our shelter clinic where she spent a little time in recovery.
Our shelter manager describes Chocolat as an absolute delight. During her early days at the shelter, Chocolat refused to leave her bed which she considered to be her safe place. Chocolat is reticent with strangers, but she gives her trust in a very few minutes. This speaks so highly of her.
Chocolat was unsurprisingly named after her coat, and she has a white flash to her chest and a variety of shades on her stunning ears. Simply the most appealing and exemplary of rescue candidates. Not to mention totally deserving.
Chocolat would benefit from more lead training. She seems to mix perfectly well with other dogs, cats and children.
Chocolat would love to join a quiet household with experienced dog owners.
